My Back The Sequel and People On The Train

So I woke up early this morning cuz I had to go to the chiropractor. I went yesterday for the first time. It has already helped. My back was a little better yesterday, but not good enough, so I spend all day yesterday in a chair.
Well,  back to this morning, I woke up at 4:45 am, cuz my mom was going to pick me up at 5:30 am. But as I tried to get out of bed I just fell to the floor and I couldn't get up. So I had to call my parents, and my dad said he would come and help me. Five minutes went by and then my dad calls me and tells me he can't find the key to my appartment.... GREAT!
My dad wakes up my older sister who lives around the corner from me, and get my key from her, so after I have been sitting on the flor for like an hour, crying in my pain, my dad comes and helps me up, and takes me the chiropractor.
The chiropractor cracks my back three times and then it's all over, it took like 5 min. and then I have to come back tomorrow. I'm so gratefull that my mom works there, else it would have cost me like a $100 - man I'm blessed.
But it was so good that I was capable of traveling home on my own. A chiropractor is miracle worker.

So I travel home by myself on the S-train. As the train pulls into the station, I start walking towards the end of the train, cuz it will make it easier for me to get to the next train I'm going with.
But then  I notice that people start pushing themself in fron of me. People are getting as close as possible to the train, even before it stops moving. Why do they do that? Are they afraid they won't get on the train? I mean they very well know that they can't open the door before it stops. and every dane knows that the train driver sticks his head out the window to make sure everybody get on the train. So please stay behind the yellow line until the train stops and please STOP the pushing.
As I was sitting in the train I noticed that people would get up from their seat like 5 min. before the train would get to their stop. What's up with that? Are they afraid the train won't stop at their station if they don't stand at the door at least 5 min.? Here's a secret, the S-train stops at EVERY station, so please stay in your seat and enjoy the ride.

The other day I was at the very front of the train trying to get on. It was stopped but about to start up again, and the driver had his head out the window. We made eye contact and there's no way he didn't see me, but then he started the train again without me. I was annoyed...
